A detailed justification of the allegations

On 1 September 2015 Competition and Consumer Protection Office presented clarification regarding Statement of objections.

From this day, after ending the proceedings the President of the Competition and Consumer Protection Office will be obliged to present statement of objections which he obtained during the proceedings in case regarding practices infringing competition, practicesinfringingcollective interestsofconsumers and imposing fines in case of infringing regulations of act on competition and consumer protection from 16 February 2007.

Presentation of the letter with statement of objections will be necessary if the President of CCPO intends to issue a decision confirming the practice. Such new institution is an attempt in meeting requirements provided in the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and in article 74 of competition and consumers protection act, which provides the possibility for the party to present its statement regarding the objections, collected evidences and facts, which will form grounds for the CCPO President’s decision.
